Take a look at this video from a job we are working on in Los Angeles. Here you can see our team is laying conduit and putting up a 1920s era street light.

Installing a 1920s street light is a little unusual. Typically Foddrill Construction works on jobs to install new lights or to modernize systems, like retrofitting high pressure sodium lighting to LED Conversions. We also provide maintenance for street light systems across Southern California and we light up parks, walkways, developer communities and more. We have several options that are functional and decorative, but this1920s light does stand out.

We are proud to be able to accommodate all kinds of requests, but no matter what the job is Foddrill Construction always focuses on safety, efficiency and attention to detail. With that approach we know we can go above and beyond to keep our clients happy.

Foddrill Construction is a Southern California Edison (SCE) certified contractor through the supplier Clearing House (WMBE) and approved contractor for NOV/AMERON International. For any inquiries, questions or commendations, please call: 909-591-4095

In this project, for the Landsea residential development, we installed street lights, small tree lights, bollards in the park and gazebo lighting. We did all of the conduit work and installed pedestals with controls for lighting.

How many people can say they own a replica of the 1966 Adam West Batmobile? Foddrill Construction (FC) owner, Leonora Foddrill can. Leonora and her late-husband, Jimmy Foddrill, made the decision to purchase the vehicle from Fiberglass Freaks with the intention of donating the vehicle for photo opportunities for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society events. Two years after, Jimmy was diagnosed with Leukemia.

“I had no idea when he first requested it [the Batmobile]. This is why it’s so important to me to get the car out there, especially for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to really make a difference for charity.” Shares Leonora. After his passing, Leonora has kept the vehicle and donates it to charities such as Relay for Life, Bark for Life, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and Children’s charities, among others.

Actor Burt Ward, who played Robin in the Batman television series opposite Adam West, signed Foddrill’s vehicle and rode in it alongside his wife Tracy for the Hollywood Christmas Parade in December of 2017. Earlier in 2017 at a separate event in Hollywood was one of the last times Leonora saw Adam West before he passed.

Foddrill Construction is well known in the community for offering the Batmobile for charity, but did you know that FC also participates in fundraisers for local community-based organizations where they organize collectively to donate bicycles for Vets, car seats for children and to fundraise for special needs children, among many others. Leonora closes by sharing, “Giving back to the community is really high on my list of priorities and we’re blessed to do that.” What will your legacy be?
